Saturday STEAM at the Stew: Decorate and Solder a Flip Lamp

In this class participants will have the opportunity to decorate and solder their very own stained glass inspired "Draaillampje" (Dutch for flip lamp). When the lamp is sitting with the lid up, the light will be on but when the lamp is turned upside down the light will turn off. This class will provide an introduction to electrical circuits through the soldering of LEDs and batteries to create the functioning flip lamp. Participants will also create the stained glass effect on the outside of their jars using colored tissue paper and let their creativity SHINE THROUGH with their designs.
