For experienced sewists. This five-session series is an open sewing session designed to facilitate starting a project, finishing a project, or anything in-between, with the support of instructor Lee Smith for advice and assistance. Please keep in mind this is not a class or a private lesson, but an opportunity to sew independently with an instructor present to answer questions, work through sewing troubles, give a second opinion on sewing steps, and keep you progressing in your quest to become a more skilled maker. All of this while having great fun!! You are welcome to bring your own machine, or you may reserve one of the Art Center’s sewing. machines. Upon registration, please email Lee at thatsewingplace@gmail.com to discuss your project.
Supplies needed:
* projects in progress or planned, including patterns & fabric (project ideas are available, contact us if you need suggestions!)
* basic sewing kit (pins, scissors, marking pen & seam ripper)

Cancellation policy: Registrants may cancel their enrollment 48 hours (2 days) before a class begins for a refund or credit. After this deadline, no refund or credit is available. GAAC/The Stew reserves the right to cancel classes due to a minimum enrollment not being met. In that event, participants will be notified and will be able to choose between a refund or credit for a future class.
