Explore the world through a wide array of hands-on art projects in a relaxed and fun environment, working with a variety of materials and media. Led by an outstanding team of teaching artists and volunteers, our diverse projects often incorporate science, math, music, literature, and more! Students are encouraged to unlock their creativity and activate their imagination!

  • Classes follow the Grinnell-Newburg district calendar. No Studio 6 on days there is an early-out or no school. This includes snow days. 

  • Cancellation fee policy: Full refund for cancellations before August 19. After August 19, tuition will be refunded minus a $50 administrative fee per number of days enrolled (1, 2, or 3).

  • Grinnell-Newburg School District bus transportation is available. Bus drops students right in front of the Grinnell Arts Center, and staff meet the students.
