If you are looking to learn new techniques using knit and purl stitches, this course is for you! Participants will learn to knit a flat cowl, focusing on various stitch patterns to create texture and visual interest. This class is suitable for knitters familiar with basic stitches (knit and purl). We will learn five different stitch patterns that can be used to add interest to other projects and learn how to make button holes!
Materials:
Any worsted weight yarn, at least 150 yards. I recommend the yarn be acrylic, wool, or a blend of the two. I also recommend a solid color for this project of a medium or light color.
Size 8 needles, straight or circular. If using circular, they should be at least 24" long.
