This two-part workshop will show you how to build a countertop wine rack and teach you some basic woodworking and safety skills.  Makes a great gift! Tools that will be used will include table saw, miter saw, router, drill press, and hand drills. Project will also include gluing, sanding, and staining. No experience necessary! Participants should expect to get a little dirty and wear closed toe shoes with no loose or dangling clothes, hair, or jewelry. All materials will be provided as part of the registration fee (wine not included!). The finished project will look similar to the pictures below.

Bill Schares recently relocated to Grinnell and is excited to teach woodworking in the community. He has over 30 years of woodworking experience.

Grinnell College Students may receive a 25% discount at checkout by using code "STUDENT25". Students who pay for and complete this workshop may apply to the Wilson Center to have the fee reimbursed.
